Jennifer Hancock, Principal

Jen brings decades of experience in writing, editing, and strategic communications across long-form and short-form platforms.
A former professor of writing and communications, she specializes in helping mission-driven organizations translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messages that inspire engagement and action.

Her work spans policy development, civic engagement initiatives, and public affairs communications. She has co-written legislation, contributed to ballot initiative campaigns, and ghostwritten opinion pieces that make nuanced issues accessible to broad audiences.

She also brings twelve years of intensive board work, including grant-making and program management, and service on small donor, gala, endorsement, and strategic planning committees.
Jen’s expertise lies in sharpening narrative clarity, strengthening calls to action, and ensuring high-quality content reaches the audiences positioned to use it.
